V.J. Edgecombe of the Philadelphia 76ers is ready to make his mark on the NBA.
The rookie star is making moves in the Summer League and is prepared for the regular season to start in a few months so he can show Philadelphia and the rest of the league what he can do.
On X, the NBA shared a picture of Edgecombe in his new Sixers uniform and the young player looked completely comfortable in his jersey.

Edgecombe may look comfortable in his jersey, but he had to shake off a little rust during a recent game at Summer Leauge.
In a July 15 game, he went scoreless in the first half and missed all seven of his attempts from the field.
But over the next two quarters, Edgecombe heated up and scored 15 points, shooting 4-of-7 form the field and 6-of-6 from the free-throw line, helping the Sixers beat the Washington Wizards.
This performance came after Edgecombe sat out of four outings because of a left thumb sprain.
Before that, he was looking pretty good and debuted in the Summer league with 28 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and one steal.
Although his July 15 showing didn’t get off to a great start, he eventually looked like his regular self again and 76ers fans are excited to see what he can do when 2025-26 kicks off in a few months.
Edgecombe is versatile and adaptable, which are two of the reasons why he was selected as the No. 3 overall pick in the draft.
He showed he can bounce back and is looking more and more at ease on the court with his team.
