Tyrese Haliburton will have a very busy upcoming season with his Indiana Pacers.
But will he also have a busy summer next year due to the 2024 Olympics?
Following Team USA’s elimination from the FIBA Basketball World Cup, Haliburton was asked if he’d play for the team in the Olympics.
According to Naveen Ganglani, via ClutchPoints, Haliburton is completely on board.
“100%, 100%. If they’ll have me back, it’s a no-brainer for me,” Haliburton said.

Haliburton was a very helpful part of the American team during the tournament.
He scored 8.6 points, 3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists a game.
Those 5.6 assists aren’t shocking considering he made a name for himself as one of the best passers in the league last season.
During 2022-23, Haliburton produced 10.4 assists per game.
He showed his typical flair and personality on the court during the World Cup, dishing out passes to his teammates in a playful and fun fashion.
But will he still be called back next year for the Paris games?
After another disappointing showing in the World Cup, the powers that be might decide to make big changes to the American squad.
Haliburton was good, there is no denying that.
But the team might look radically different next summer and being “good” might not be good enough.
There are rumors that LeBron James wants to return to play in the Olympics next summer.
If that happens, Team USA will probably try to attract the biggest names in the game, and competition to get on the team will be intense.
Will Haliburton and his exciting brand of shooting and passing make the cut?
