The Atlanta Falcons headed into the 2023 NFL season without a lot of expectations, with most thinking the team could be one of the worst in the NFL, with the only bright spot being rookie running back Bijan Johnson.
For the most part, that has been the case this season, as the team has struggled to make an impact this season and is sitting with a record of 2-2 heading into Week 5 against the Houston Texans.
Although Johnson has been as advertised thus far in his rookie season, quarterback Desmond Ridder has really struggled and could soon be headed for the bench if he can’t turn things around.
One of the biggest disappointments on the team this year has been tight end Kyle Pitts, who was thought to become one of the best players at his position.
Pitts has struggled every week with fantasy owners pulling their hair out as a result, but Miami Dolphins superstar Tyreek Hill came to his defense after a lowlights video has been doing the rounds on social media.
What is this post ? We all fall and slip now show him cooking . Every story got ✌🏿 sides https://t.co/l6rKLJeDwO

Clearly, Hill is not a fan of people taking out their frustrations on players and felt compelled to defend Pitts in this situation, as the video is a bit weak and doesn’t tell the story.
With the Falcons picking Pitts at No. 4 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, Atlanta was expecting more out of the tight end, but he continues to disappoint, and that doesn’t seem to be changing any time soon, with fellow tight end Jonu Smith putting up better numbers for the team at this point in the season.NEXT: Desmond Ridder Makes A Clear Statement On Recent Criticism
