Tyler Herro believes in the Miami Heat and he most certainly believes in their special, promising backcourt.
Speaking to Jeremey Chandler Tache, per NBACentral, Herro talked about his work with Terry Rozier and their plans for the new season.
“We both believe we’re one of the best backcourts in the league, and we both individually think we’re one of the best guards in the league,” Herro said.
They have faith in themselves but will that allow them to go far in 2024-25?

Last season, Herro averaged 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.
As for Rozier, he put up 16.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists during his 31 games with the Heat.
They are two talented guards but does that make them the best backcourt in the league?
That’s a tough question to answer, especially since they haven’t had a lot of time together to prove what they are capable of.
They are hoping to show off a lot more in 2024-25.
But this will be a difficult season for the Heat because the rest of the Eastern Conference has gotten a lot tougher recently.
They will be battling against teams like the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, and, of course, the Boston Celtics.
It’ll be hard to prove how wonderful they are against such strong competition.
Rozier is one of the few additions the Heat have made over the last several years and they often stay still during trade seasons and summers.
But if this season doesn’t get much better for the Heat, they could be shaking things up and adding more talent around Herro and Rozier.
