What does the future hold for Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat?
Many people are asking that right now, including perhaps Herro himself.
His name has consistently been attached to a possible trade for Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers.
Herro hasn’t publicly commented on this but he did post something on Instagram that seemed to reference the situation.
“Ain’t no friends in this business,” a caption in Herro’s Instagram story said, according to Bleacher Report.

He might be learning that lesson the hard way.
Herro has done a lot for the Heat during his four years with the team.
The guard has averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists on 43.9% from the floor since being drafted by the Heat in 2019.
He has been incredibly helpful to the team, especially when coming off the bench.
In fact, in 2022, Herro earned Sixth Man of the Year.
He was doing quite well last season as a starter but an injury took him out of the playoffs during the very first game.
The Heat went on to reach the NBA Finals, of course, but they did so without Herro.
Perhaps the front office began to feel Herro was expendable because they found a lot of success without him.
Whatever the reason, Herro has been tied to a possible Lillard trade since the very beginning.
Now that both teams are apparently speaking again and negotiating a deal, we will finally see if Herro is dealt away.
If he is, he will have to get comfortable on a new NBA team.
But will he actually make friends there?
