The Tampa Bay Rays, who own the best record in all of baseball will be receiving a major boost this weekend when they play host to the Los Angeles Dodgers in a rematch of the 2020 World Series.
Glasnow has yet to pitch this season after suffering an oblique injury in spring training.
However, the Rays are about to get their ace back and have somebody to go next to left-hander Shane McClanahan.
Glasnow will make his first start of the year on Saturday.
On Thursday, the young right-hander got a chance to catch up with Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun and discussed his return to action.

Glasnow said he was excited to finally get going after not pitching since Game 2 of last year’s American League Wild Card Series against the Cleveland Guardians.
Shockingly, the right-hander has not made a start at Tropicana Field since back in 2021.
He missed most of 2022 recovering from Tommy John surgery, but when he returned, all his starts came on the road.
Glasnow discussed being able to get back into a familiar routine when he makes his debut on Saturday, describing how weird it’s been to not make a home start.
He also recalled facing the Washington Nationals in his last start at Tropicana Field back in 2021.
In that game, Glasnow went seven innings and allowed six hits while striking out a whopping 11 batters.
His next start came against the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field, which was the start he injured his elbow in.
Finally, Glasnow described how it felt to know that the Rays have been playing so well, saying that it’s helped him relax a little despite being on the IL.
