The Miami Dolphins‘ high-powered offense finally fell back down to earth as they were taken down by the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
The Dolphins and Bills both entered the contest playing impressive football early in the season, though it was the former that would take home the victory.
Miami was only able to score 20 points compared to Buffalo’s 48, a clear sign that the defenses had opposite days on the field.
Tua Tagovailoa found it more difficult to operate in the pocket with the Bills’ pass rush getting home, and with the team trailing double digits he had no choice but to drop back more often.
However, it might have been better for Mike McDaniel to draw up more running plays for De’Von Achane who had another impressive outing.
Achane has been a revelation since getting more snaps on the field and Tagovailoa had high praise for the rookie running back via Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
“Oh my gosh, You guys see it. I think the whole NFL sees it… Dude’s a special player,” Tagovailoa said.

Tua raved about Achane’s intelligence grasping timing of offense. Achane averaging 11.4 ypc with 6 TDs.

With Raheem Mostert fumbling the football, Achane got a chance to operate as the lead back and he quite literally ran with the opportunity as he took his eight carries for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Achane also added three receptions for 19 yards for good measure.
Although he’ll never be able to handle a workhorse load because of his stature, Achane is a homerun play waiting to happen given his speed and vision in the open field.
Miami’s full of explosive weapons and Achane will get another chance to show off what he can do when they take on the New York Giants.
