The 2024 NFL season has been filled with several significant storylines.
Some teams that were expected to be good have underwhelmed expectations, while some teams that were said to be rebuilding are now on the rise and playing top-tier football.
Several players have received recognition for their play, making this year’s MVP race more murky than in years past.
At times, Josh Allen, Jared Goff, Saquon Barkley, and Sam Darnold have all looked the part, giving voters a lot to think about.
While all four of these athletes have played exceptionally well down the stretch, there’s another player on a team on the playoff bubble that Troy Aikman thinks should be in the conversation.
“If I had a vote, it would go to Joe Burrow,” Aikman said.

Aikman believes that Burrow has played exceptionally well all season for the Cincinnati Bengals, and should at least be given a look when considering this year’s MVP.
The Bengals have gotten unlucky in the win column this season, losing several games heartbreakingly.
This might have dampened their spirits, but Burrow has remained calm and collected through it all, playing his heart out to give the Bengals a fighting chance.
While they need some help to make the postseason at this point, Burrow and the Bengals still have a chance to sneak in during Week 18.
Will Burrow do everything he can in this game and vault the Bengals to another hard-fought win, giving voters more to think about in the MVP race?
