The Jacksonville Jaguars desperately need to make things work with Trevor Lawrence.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, he was deemed one of the most talented quarterbacks to ever enter the league, and though there have been flashes of that, he hasn’t been consistently good.
That might be about to change.
Lawrence recently claimed he’s poised for a bounce-back season because he’s finally healthy.
“It’s the first time I’ve been healthy in a long time. … And now, finally feeling like myself, finally feel like I’m back to ripping it. Feel really good. Feel really comfortable with the system too,” Lawrence said, via NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.

Lawrence’s rookie season essentially didn’t count.
Urban Meyer’s brief tenure as Jaguars head coach will go down in infamy, and it’s hard to blame Lawrence for any of that team’s shortcomings.
Then, he looked like a potential star in the making under Doug Pederson, but it didn’t last long.
Injuries, subpar play and an apparent disconnect with the head coach hurt his chances to dominate.
Now, he has another new head coach, Liam Coen, who helped revive the career of Baker Mayfield as an assistant with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Lawrence will have two elite receivers in Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr., with other potential playmakers as well.
It’s the dawn of a new era in Jacksonville, and it’s about time the Jaguars finally get their money’s worth from their franchise quarterback.
