The Dallas Cowboys have found more success recently when their defense is on the field, so it only made sense for them to keep revamping that side of their team.
With that in mind, they brought in veteran DB Stephon Gilmore, a former Defensive Player of the Year who still has plenty left in the tank.
Notably, it didn’t take long before the former New England Patriots star made his presence felt within the locker room, already having a great impression on Trevon Diggs.
In a recent sitdown with Jon Machota of The Athletic, Diggs raved about all the things — both minor and major — that he has learned from Gillmore thus far, from his unmatched work ethic to his eating habits.

Diggs claims he’s trying to soak in as much information as he can to try and have a long and successful career in the league, just like Gilmore.
The Cowboys will sure hope he takes a page or two from his book.
They recently signed him to a very lucrative long-term extension, which is far from a surprise if you take a look at his numbers.
Even so, Diggs has a tendency to do a little too much from time to time, going for the home run way too often and getting burned for that over-aggressiveness.
It’s always nice to have a proven and bona fide veteran in the locker room, as even stars of the game can always take something positive and learn a lot from their time together.
