The NBA is more versatile than it has ever been but everyone agrees there is an expert group of shooters making games exciting night after night.
One of them is Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks, who has long been celebrated for his shooting abilities.
Young recently listed his top five shooters in the NBA, via Million Dollaz Worth of Game and NBACentral.
Unsurprisingly, he made his own list.
Young placed himself, Steph Curry, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson, and Bogdan Bogdanovic on his list, in no particular order.
This is a great group of shooters and shows that Young really does know his competition well.

When it comes to Bogdanovic, Young has gotten close with him over the last few years as they have been the top forces for Atlanta’s backcourt.
The rest of the list is filled with Young’s opponents.
Like every other guard in the NBA, Young has repeatedly played against Curry, Lillard, and Thompson.
He knows just how unstoppable they can be when they find their shot and he takes notes on how to score like them and also slow them down.
With his list, Young has chosen a lot of veteran players who have been in the league for years.
And while they are all very talented, there is a new crop of shooters rising through the ranks who should also be on Young’s radar.
The league changes in many ways from year to year but one thing will always be consistent: teams need great shooters.
Young believes these five are the best of the best but there are many more who can give them a run for their money.
