The Atlanta Hawks have alternated good seasons with not-so-great ones.
By that trend, they should be a very good team in the upcoming campaign.
That’s also what budding star Trae Young seems to think, judging by his latest post on Twitter.
Young quoted a tweet from the Hawks showing that he and Dejounte Murray were just the second set of teammates to average at least 20 points and six assists per game in a single season (via StatMuse), and he hinted at doing even more impressive things next season.

The Hawks brought in coach Quin Snyder later last season, and Young seemed to buy in right away.
He’s had nothing but praise for the former Utah Jazz coach since he was appointed, and all the rumors about Young being on the trade block have ceased ever since.
There were reports about him not getting along with his former coach, who had even decided to resign before eventually leaving the team.
There were also reports of Young not getting along with John Collins, who was finally traded to the Utah Jazz.
Truth be told, the Hawks have complied with pretty much every single demand Trae Young has had, so it’s time he delivers and pays them back.
The Hawks looked like an up-and-coming team in the Eastern Conference when they made it to the Eastern Conference Finals, but they’ve failed to live up to those standards.
Will they be back to that stage soon? It could all depend on their explosive backcourt.
