The Atlanta Hawks haven’t exactly been at their best this season.
They were expected to be one of the strongest candidates out of the Eastern Conference, but Dejounte Murray’s addition didn’t do a lot to help them.
They’ve failed to be at their best when they’ve faced contending teams, and that was on full display again when they faced the Boston Celtics on Sunday night.
There were some questionable calls for both sides throughout the game, so some expected that Trae Young would address that situation in his press conference.
However, when asked about it, the Atlanta Hawks star had one of the most hilarious responses one could think of, stating that he’s not going to pull off a Fred VanVleet.
“I’m not gonna Fred Vanvleet these folks”

VanVleet was recently fined $30,000 for going against the referees, not mincing his words on an epic rant after a couple of tough losses.
Truth be told, NBA fans, coaches, and players have been far from satisfied with the officiating, and it’s only gotten worse over the years.
Also, far from helping, the league’s two-minute reports have only exposed the officials further, as it points out every single missed call they make, and that’s just in the final two minutes alone.
We already knew that the NBA had problems with calls relating to travels, carries, defensive or offensive three seconds, and palming.
But they’re not doing a very good job on any other call or no-call either, so the league needs to make that a point of emphasis in the upcoming off-season.
