The Golden State Warriors are not having the season many inside the organization would have hoped.
As they try to repeat as NBA champions, the Warriors are off to a slow start.
Golden State has a record of 20-21 and they are currently the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
But, the Warriors’ front office does not plan to sit around and watch their team struggle without making a move.
Reports are surfacing that the Warriors are engaged in trade talks around the league.

The Warriors need to add some veteran depth, especially behind Kevon Looney and Draymond Green.
Golden State needs another big man because James Wiseman has not panned out this season.
Some of the names that the Warriors might be interested in are Mason Plumlee, Jakob Poeltl, and Myles Turner.
Head coach Steve Kerr is even starting to get worried about the usage of Looney and Green.

It would be a shock if the Warriors do not make a big move before the trade deadline.
Another spot they could look at is shooting off the bench.
Other than Jordan Poole, the Warriors do not have another pure shooter playing meaningful minutes.
Gary Trent Jr. from the Toronto Raptors has been a name floating around, also Alex Caruso has been linked to a possible trade.
Even though Caruso is not an elite shooter, he is a very good defender, which is another place the Warriors need help.
It would be a surprise if the Warriors were not active in the trade market.
Their championship window is now, and trading some young players for veterans to help win another title is key.
