Heading into the 2023 NFL season, many teams are looking to make a quarterback change.
Luckily for them, this draft class is said to have some of the best prospects in the last several years.
With any luck, these quarterback-needy teams will be able to find their answer at the position, drafting a franchise quarterback to lead their team moving forward.
There is one quarterback prospect in particular that is looking to make a splash ahead of April’s draft.
Bryce Young is reportedly “working” with a nutritionist to attempt to get up to 210 pounds.
Young’s size has been one of the main concerns with him as a prospect.

Bryce Young had quite the 2021 collegiate season, winning the Heisman Trophy and a National Championship as well.
Young is just another elite product of the University of Alabama system and has been touted as one of the top picks in the upcoming draft.
However, similar to his former teammate DeVonta Smith, Young has been criticized for his weight.
As reported above, it looks like Young is trying to put on almost 20 pounds before the draft to improve his stock.
By having a bit more weight to him, Young would be an even more lethal threat on the ground and would be able to absorb hits better as well.
There are at least four teams that are likely set to draft a quarterback this year.
If Young can put on the weight that he is seeking, will he be the first quarterback drafted?
He did take a slight dip in production during the 2022 season, but, considering his success in 2021, that might be overlooked by many teams, especially if he can bulk up before the draft.
