This past NBA All-Star Weekend was full of stars and fun events.
Unfortunately, All-Star Saturday Night was mostly a dud.
It was fun to see the Antetokounmpo family take on the Skills Challenge though — even if it had very odd and complicated rules.
Karl-Anthony Towns also put on a show en route to his first 3-Point Contest title.
Then on Sunday, the majority of the NBA 75 — well top 76 players all-time — made for fantastic moments like this:

The 2022 version of the All-Star Celebrity Game had some celebrities, but it has turned into an odd spectacle of random “stars” who a lot of people do not know.
This year’s Rising Stars game was fun, and it included a target score for each of the two semifinal contests and the final.
Then, the grand finale on Sunday took the cake.
The All-Star Game was fun, it had the two broadcasts, and all the real stars were there.
So, what were the top three moments from NBA All-Star Weekend?
3. LeBron Ends The ASG On A Tremendous Fadeaway Jumper
The Elam Ending is making the NBA All-Star Game fun every year.
Not only is the individual quarter scoring a great idea, but the fourth-quarter target score is also the perfect way to play the annual contest.
LeBron James put the cherry on top of a memorable Sunday, as he hit a long fadeaway jumper over Zach LaVine to win the fifth consecutive All-Star Game for Team LeBron:

James scored 24 points as a part of a strong performance by all the starters for Team LeBron.
Here are how the other starters scored:
- DeMar DeRozan: 10 points
- Nikola Jokic: 10 points
- Giannis Antetokounmpo: 24 points
- Stephen Curry: game-high 50 points
2. Stephen Curry’s Record-Breaking ASG Performance
Stephen Curry put on a show with his 50 points on Sunday, but it actually was not the most points ever in an All-Star Game:
- Anthony Davis: 52 points (2017)
- Stephen Curry: 50 points (2022)
- Wilt Chamberlain: 42 points (1962)
While Chamberlain did not have the luxury of the 3-point line — and Davis made 26 field goals (all 2-pointers) — Curry made use of the 3-point line in his crazy performance.
Curry made an NBA-record 16 shots from deep in the 2022 All-Star Game en route to his first All-Star Game Most Valuable Player award:

It was a very efficient performance by Curry, who made 16 of his 27 attempts from 3-point.
He also chipped in one bucket from inside the 3-point line.
However, what will be remembered were his no-look 3-pointers.
1. Michael Jordan Makes An Appearance
The main thing that will be remembered from this year’s Cleveland All-Star Weekend will be the NBA 75: the 76 best players in NBA history.
Just like in 1997 in Cleveland, the best players in the NBA — in 1997, it was the top 50 — convened and were celebrated by the crowd.
Then, after the first 75 were introduced, the GOAT himself made an appearance:

He was the man of the night, in addition to Curry.
Everyone wanted to be around Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
Also, there were rumors that he would not be there in person, but it was the perfect way to end the NBA 75 introductions.
