The Minnesota Timberwolves have impressed throughout the 2023-24 NBA season.
However, the franchise has somewhat slowed down over the past few games.
It is evident from the Timberwolves dropping to the third seed in the Western Conference alongside boasting a 6-4 record in the past 10 games of the season.
The Timberwolves also recently suffered a surprising defeat against the ninth-seeded Los Angeles Lakers.
The organization was on the verge of suffering another defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, but Anthony Edwards willed his team to a win.
Despite being down 22 points at one point during the game, the Timberwolves never gave up and registered a 118-100 win over the Clippers.
The Timberwolves created history along the way as they became the first team since the 2000-01 season to erase a 22-point deficit in a game while simultaneously leading the game by the same margin as well on the road.
Since the 2000-01 season, there have been over 5,500 instances of an NBA team falling behind by 22+ points on the road.
Last night the @Timberwolves became the only one of those teams to come back from such a deficit and later take a 22+ point lead themselves 😳

Playing on the road is always difficult, and combining that with the pressure of trailing a game by 22 points is even more excruciating.
It further solidifies the credibility of the Timberwolves this season.
Despite being a top seed in the West right now, many do not think of the team as a serious contender come playoff time.
Can the Timberwolves prove their doubters wrong in the playoffs?
Fans will find out over the next few months.
