Things have been rough in the NBA for Kemba Walker lately.
After a rough patch with the New York Knicks, the four-time All-Star was sent to the Detroit Pistons, who promptly bought out his contract and made him a free agent.
At times, it feels like no one wants Walker.

But when you look back at his career – and his first games during the Summer League of 2012 – you see a star who is deserving of another chance.
Hopefully he gets just that very soon.
During his first time on the NBA court, the future Charlotte Hornets star was fast, efficient, and lit up the scoreboard.
It was the start of something special in the NBA – and he has time to show his special talents again.
Walker’s Future
We aren’t sure where Walker will end up when free agency is over but there will likely be a team looking to sign him.
During his career, he has averaged 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists.
His time in New York didn’t look much like that, with an 11.6-point and 3-rebound average but there were many elements at play there.
He was certainly having a rough patch but he always was benched often and it was obvious the coaching staff didn’t really have faith in him.
If Walker is able to find a team that needs a veteran guard like him – one that believes in him – he could really light up again.
He has had talent since his first days in the league and surely there is still more gas in the tank.
Walker might not play as he did during the Summer League of yesteryear but he might impress us again in the future.
