Throughout the conclusion of the latest season, many people were wondering what was next for Jordan Poole and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors.
Because of a rough postseason as well as tricky contract negotiations, both of these players could be on the chopping block for the Warriors.
In fact, many people assumed that these stars could be gone when 2023-24 tips off.
That currently doesn’t seem to be in the cards.
Anthony Slater is reporting that the Warriors “are operating under the assumption that both Draymond Green and Jordan Poole can again be on the same roster and push toward the same championship goal next season without issue.”

This is a huge deal, not only for Poole and Green but for the team as a whole.
When their season ended in a disappointing fashion, most analysts agreed that something was going to change within the team.
Sure enough, General Manager Bob Myers said goodbye to the team.
Speculation suggested that he would just be the first of many to part ways with the organization.
Cutting both Poole and Green loose seemed like the most obvious change that the front office would pursue.
Green is wanting a hefty contract extension and Poole had a lot of trouble in the playoffs.
Of course, these two men were also involved in a serious physical altercation before the season started.
But if the Warriors feel like both men can remain on the team and help them win another championship, will any changes be coming?
Golden State could still shake things up and surprise their fans.
There are numerous other players who could be sent elsewhere in the league.
But right now it sounds like they think they can keep things the same and find success.
