The Golden State Warriors had another tough night on the road on Sunday.
Stephen Curry and his team faced off against the Brooklyn Nets, who have been experiencing a few ups and downs lately without Kevin Durant.
There were some people who thought the Warriors had a good shot at stealing a much-need road victory.
They didn’t.
Teams that have season swept the Warriors:
2015-19, 2022 combined: 2
2023: 4 (IND, DET, ORL, BKN)

The Nets beat the Warriors 120-116, flawlessly ending their season’s series with the Warriors.
That means they have beaten the Warriors each time they have met them in 2022-23.
At one point, that would have been a rare feat: from 2015 to 2019 and in 2022, only 2 teams had swept the Warriors in the season.
In 2023, 4 teams have done so.
Those teams are the Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic, and Detroit Pistons.
The Warriors are in a bad place right now: more specifically, they are in 10th place with a 23-24 record.
Even with Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, and Andrew Wiggins starting, the team was still not able to pull out a win.
This is something we have seen again and again: the Warriors have their strongest players and they are still falling short.
Six Warriors players were in double digits on Sunday night and that wasn’t enough to overcome Brooklyn.
They are being outplayed in many ways but especially in their lacking defense.
The clock is ticking for the reigning champions.
A few months might feel like plenty of time to turn everything around and get on the right track for the postseason but each loss puts them deeper and deeper into a hole.
Up next for the Warriors are the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, and Oklahoma City Thunder.
