The Philadelphia Phillies are looking to get hot at the right time.
With only three weeks left in the regular season, that appears to be happening with a few of their star players.
Both Kyle Schwarber and Trea Turner have caught fire for the Phillies.
According to MLB Network, Schwarber and Turner are the National League leaders in home runs since August 1.

Schwarber has hit 16 home runs in that span to Turner’s 15.
Thanks to their production the Phillies are in first place in the NL Wild Card standings.
As we saw with the Phillies last year, all it takes is to get into the playoffs to make a run.
Both Schwarber and Turner struggled earlier in the season.
Turner was playing his first season in Philadelphia and it took him a while to get comfortable, while Schwarber is just a different type of hitter.
He never hits for a high batting average, but he gets on base a ton.
The three things he does the most are walk, strike out, and hit home runs.
Yet, both are key cogs atop a loaded Phillies lineup.
Schwarber, Turner, and Bryce Harper are the top three hitters in the Phillies lineup.
While each is valuable there is another spot where the team must improve.
The Achilles heel of the Phillies in October will be their pitching.
Both the starters and bullpen need to pitch better if the Phillies want any chance to make the Fall Classic.
The adage is that pitching wins in the postseason, and that will be true for the Phillies.
If they can get that figured out, this team will be tough to stop.
