MLB is looking to expand its great game.
Taking the game abroad is a great way for fans all over the world to become engaged with baseball.
That is why MLB will continue the London Series in 2024.
According to Fox Sports: MLB, the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets will be heading to London for a series in 2024.

Those are two of the most popular teams in MLB and a heated rivalry that should get plenty of publicity.
This season the London series is featuring another rivalry between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs.
That two-game series is set to take place from June 24-25.
One interesting factor about playing in London is the stadium the teams will use.
The games will take place in London Stadium, and the dimensions of that field are smaller than most MLB stadiums.
For instance, the center field wall is only 385 feet.
That will be one of the shortest center fields for an MLB regular-season game.
You can expect many players will be looking to drive the ball to center field knowing the dimensions.
Another great way to grow baseball is the World Baseball Classic.
Teams from all over the world are forming to compete in that tournament.
We saw that tournament get plenty of publicity during March.
The hope is that kids from all over the world take an interest in baseball after seeing the WBC and London Series games.
Baseball is known as America’s pastime and MLB is trying to spread it around the globe.
