Jokes aside, the Nuggets are on pace to win the first NBA title in the franchise’s history, with the team playing exceptional team basketball and not missing a beat after a nine-day rest between the Western Conference Finals and the NBA Finals.
Even though the Heat can’t be counted out in this series after what Jimmy Butler and company have been able to accomplish throughout the playoffs thus far, the Nuggets look virtually unbeatable at this point and might be able to continue that level of play unless there’s an injury or two.
On Sunday, the Finals will get back underway in Denver, with the Nuggets hoping to take a 2-0 series lead before the series shifts to Miami for Game 3 and Game 4.NEXT: The Nuggets Made History By Being Prepared
