Right now, star running back Saquon Barkley’s future with the New York Giants is in question.
The team used its franchise tag on him to buy some time to try to sign him to a new contract, but will only have until July 17 to come to terms with him on a new deal.
Barkley, for all intents and purposes, is the Giants’ offense, as they lack any productive wide receivers, and it’s easy to forget sometimes just how dynamic a player he is.
The NFL’s official Twitter account posted a video of Barkley’s rookie season to remind everyone just how explosive he is.

Barkley was the No. 2 pick in the 2018 draft after three outstanding seasons of college ball at Penn State University.
As a rookie, he put up 1,307 rushing yards, 721 receiving yards, and 15 total touchdowns while earning the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, not to mention a Pro Bowl berth.
That production made him one of a handful of players who have ever logged at least 2,000 total yards from scrimmage in a single season.
Unfortunately, ever since then, he has been hampered by multiple injuries that prevented him from consistently being available.
But last season, Barkley played in 16 of a possible 17 games and ran for 1,312 yards and 10 touchdowns while adding 338 yards through the air, which was good enough for his second Pro Bowl nod.
If he is unable to come to terms with the Giants on a new contract, they will be in a world of trouble to say the least.
