The Charlotte Hornets are already struggling to pile up wins during the 2023-24 NBA seasons as they currently own a 3-8 record and sit in 13th in the Eastern Conference.
The Hornets are a young team with several intriguing players, but they’re going to need to find a way to get LaMelo Ball more help on the floor.
Ball has been a budding star in the league and is off to a strong start despite Charlotte’s inability to pick up wins.
The former number-two overall pick is averaging 22.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 8.6 assists this season though he’s having to pick up the slack a lot of nights.
As talented as he is, Ball is unable to lift the franchise on his own so it’ll be interesting to see how the organization decides to move forward.
In the meantime, it looks like Ball is catching grief from the league office as well as they’ve reportedly asked him to cover up one of his tattoos via Yahoo.

Ball’s “LF” tattoo stands for LaFrance which is his middle name but also the name of his clothing brand.
Because it’s the name of his company, the league has determined it’s a commercial logo and thus asked Ball to cover it up.
Ball later argued that this hasn’t been enforced in the past and he has a point as there are several players with tattoos that could be considered commercial logos.
For now, the point guard will just have to comply with the league’s rules though he has a right to be annoyed.
