MLB has been releasing their list of the Top 100 players in baseball right now over the past few days.
They were doing it in installments of 10 players, in a countdown format from 100-91 to 10-1.
Most teams were represented in the list, but few like the New York Mets.

It’s in situations like these that you can see the Mets making an effort and trying to put together a top roster.
They have mostly succeeded in assembling a team that can compete for the World Series.
Per the rankings, Justin Verlander is the best player on the Mets.
The reigning American League Cy Young award winner was signed to a two-year, $86 million deal over the winter and was ranked 14th.
His rotation mate, Max Scherzer, was ranked 15th.
Both men will be co-aces as the Mets try to make a deep playoff run.
Infielders Francisco Lindor (21) and Pete Alonso (31) are next on the list.
The former is the all-around performer who can do it all, while the latter is the Mets’ premier power source.
Batting champ Jeff McNeil appears 45th, and Edwin Diaz, the star closer, is 51st.
Two outfielders complete the Mets’ contingent on the list: Brandon Nimmo (54) and Starling Marte (61).
That’s two starters, a reliever, three infielders, and two outfielders.
If you had any doubts that the Mets team is talented and well-balanced, all you have to do it take a look at MLB’s list and you will be convinced.
They are a true powerhouse.
