Just a few weeks ago, Luka Doncic and his Dallas Mavericks were flying high and enjoying a seven-game win streak.
Times have changed and now the Mavs have been experiencing a slew of tough losses lately, including two against the Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and more.
The Dallas Mavericks are 3-8 in their last 11 games.
In that time span, their opponents have scored 120.4 PPG.

On Tuesday night, the Mavericks lost a close match to the Washington Wizards, meaning they have gone 3-of-8 in their last 11.
As Mavericks expert Landon Thomas reports, they have let their opponents score 120.4 points per game during that period.
The Mavericks are now dangerously close to being in play-in territory.
They are currently neck-and-neck with the Phoenix Suns for the sixth spot in the West as both teams share a 25-24 record.
If the playoffs were to start today, the Mavericks would probably have to fight for their place in them.
This is a far cry from how they were looking last month.
It also shows just how tough the NBA is right now and how worn out the Mavericks have become.
All season long, fans have pleaded with head coach Jason Kidd to go easy on Doncic and let him rest whenever possible.
The Slovenian wonder is still scoring monster numbers and put up 41 points and 15 rebounds on Tuesday.
Yet, he isn’t receiving the assistance he needs.
Apparently, Doncic believes that the front office should attempt to land more players before the February 9 trade deadline.
Now we have to wait and see if his team listens and gets him a few more helping hands.
The Mavericks will be playing against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday.
That means the game will determine which team officially claims the sixth spot in the West.
