The Miami Marlins are an exciting young team.
After years of mediocrity interrupted by a rather fluky postseason berth in 2020, they have finally put together a competitive squad ready to challenge for a spot in the playoffs.
As we head into the second half, they are 53-39, second in the NL East and 8.5 games behind the Atlanta Braves for the division lead.
The team is taking advantage of their current status as contenders and presented their 2024 regular-season schedule with a cool video on Twitter.

In the clip, locals “get on the bus” and enjoy a ride to some of the most iconic places in the city, and the most relevant opponents and the dates of their series are shown in common real-life situations.
It’s a clever way to showcase the city of Miami, the bright sun of Florida, the music, and how much fun fans could be in for by preparing to purchase tickets to watch a game at loanDepot Park next year.
The video, however, ends with an important message for baseball fans in Miami: “Join the party! Don’t wait for 2024”.
Evidently, the Marlins have reported some of the lowest attendance figures in the league.
The organization is definitely making an effort to attract people to the stadium right now.
That’s why they are inviting people not to wait for next year and go support a competitive team this year as they try to secure postseason baseball.
The Marlins don’t have the most potent offense out there, but their pitching is incredibly good and deep and they have Luis Arraez, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Jorge Soler, and other exciting players.
It might not be a bad idea to go watch them all in action.
