The Seattle Mariners have a very fun team, and are an up-and-coming force that may finally represent a true challenge for the Houston Astros in the AL West division.
They were a delight to watch all year long, as they finally broke their 21-year postseason drought and even won a playoff series on the road against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Despite their winning season and the playoff baseball, however, the Mariners finished 15th in MLB in average attendance to home games, with 28,590 fans.
It’s not a bad number, but it can certainly be a lot better in 2023 as the team finds more consistency and looks like a contender all year long.
There were stretches of bad play in 2022, especially at the beginning of the season.
In addition to having a more competitive team next year, the Mariners are also making sure their tickets are affordable.
The Mariners Want People In The Stands
“I overlooked it earlier. The @Mariners will also be selling $25 GA seats in three CF sections, which include ‘JROD Squad’ T-Shirts for all 81 games. So.. $10 and $25 buy-ins for every M’s game in 2022,” Chris Daniels tweeted.

For just $10 and $25, you can enjoy a Mariners game next year in the center field bleachers area.
Additionally, you will get a t-shirt with the best and most exciting player on the team, Julio Rodriguez.
The 2023 campaign should be a thrill to watch for Mariners fans: they already made the playoffs and despite being swept by the Astros in the Division Series, they were really close in all three games.
The next step would be cutting the Astros’ 16-game division lead next year, and why not, challenging them for the division.
Are they capable of pulling that off?
