The Los Angeles Lakers will be participating in just one of many NBA games on Monday night.
In fact, every franchise in the association will be playing, which is a huge deal for fans and the league as it promotes voting for Election Day on Tuesday.
The Lakers had it tough enough because they are going to face off against the surging Utah Jazz.
But now they will have it even tougher.
LeBron James (left foot soreness) is out tonight, Lakers say.

LeBron James is not going to play in Monday’s game due to left foot soreness, according to the team.
This will be James’ first missed game of the season and it couldn’t come at a worse time for the struggling squad.
Los Angeles Losing LeBron
James has had a tough few days.
His team lost two in a row after a promising pair of wins and now stands at 2-7, which is his worst start in years.
For his part, James has sometimes seemed out of gas (he was sick last week) and his shot selection has been lacking at times.
James hasn’t been as reliable as in the past, shooting at just 21% from the three-point line.
This latest injury doesn’t sound too serious so there is a chance that he will be back in a couple of days.
Perhaps he just needs some time off his feet, relaxing and getting ready for the rest of the year.
Hopefully, that’s the case because the Lakers need a lot of work and, obviously, James will have to be a central part of that.
James, like the rest of the Lakers, has some stuff to work on if he wishes to get the team back in good shape.
The season is still young but time is not in their favor, especially if injuries are going to start becoming a problem.
