The New York Knicks are attempting to put the previous season behind them and move forward.
However, the problem is that they haven’t changed that much over the last few months.
The team landed superstar Jalen Brunson from the Dallas Mavericks and he is set to be their new point guard.
But aside from that, the roster looks mostly the same.
That means that head coach Tom Thibodeau is going to have to make tweaks with the players he already has.

Thibodeau is figuring out his starting lineup.
The latest reporting says that Evan Fournier is the front-runner to start as shooting guard for the Knicks.
Fournier is a good choice for that pivotal position.
But the entire starting lineup will need to bring it if the Knicks wish to get back on track.
What New York Needs
The Knicks ended last season as the 11th team in the East with a painful record of 37-45.
That was a major fall from grace for the team that was 4th seed just one year before.
With Brunson leading the team, fans are hoping they have a newfound sense of energy and power.
Brunson will be able to facilitate plays to Fournier and others.
As for Fournier, he will hopefully be able to keep landing three-pointers (he was 38.9% from downtown last season).
Along with RJ Barrett, Julius Randle, and others, the Knicks will be trying to look like their 2020-21 selves and not the dysfunctional squad we saw last season.
