The NBA trade deadline of February 9 is quickly approaching and that means that certain teams are going to start wheeling and dealing a lot more.
Two teams who are sure to do something by the time the deadline rolls around are the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks.
For weeks now, the Knicks have made it known they are on the trade market, especially with their benched player Cam Reddish.
We have all known a trade with Reddish is coming, we just haven’t been sure who could come to New York in his place.

NBA insider Eric Pincus is reporting that the Knicks “covet” Reggie Bullock of the Mavericks.
We aren’t sure if a deal for Reddish and Bullock will happen but both of these players leaving their current teams is very likely.
Reddish was averaging 8.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1 assist a game during this season with the Knicks before he was benched and taken out of rotation.
As for Bullock, his average this year has been 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
Therefore, Bullock would likely be a bit of an upgrade for the Knicks.
Because of Reddish’s limited output recently, his trade value isn’t incredibly high.
In fact, most insiders expect him to be a part of a multi-player deal when he does leave New York.
The Mavericks are obviously thinking of making a few trades before the deadline, mostly to please Luka Doncic and give them a better chance at a postseason run.
So if Bullock leaves Dallas, he might not be the only one departing.
Will Reddish be exchanged for Bullock or will these two teams make arrangements with others?
We will know within the next few weeks.
