The Sacramento Kings were finally able to put an end to their playoff drought.
They proved that they were much better than most analysts thought they were, spending most of the regular season in the top four of the Western Conference.
However, they lacked the experience and maturity to close out the reigning champion Golden State Warriors, leaving a bittersweet taste in their mouths after such an impressive season.
With that in mind, they’re expected to be very aggressive in the offseason to land some reinforcements, and according to Shams Charania and Damien Barling (via NBACentral), they’ll try to get Bradley Beal and/or OG Anunoby.

Beal has reportedly told the Washington Wizards to find him a trade suitor, but that will be way easier said than done.
He has a full no-trade clause, meaning he could pretty much handpick where he’s sent to and what the Wizards will get in return, not to mention the fact that he has an astronomically high salary.
Anunoby, on the other hand, could be easier to get, although Masai Ujiri and the Toronto Raptors chose to hold onto him last season to try and make another playoff push.
He’d be a significant upgrade over Harrison Barnes on both ends of the floor, and he’s still flourishing as an offensive player.
This Kings front office has shown that they won’t hesitate to take risks, so we’ll have to keep an eye on them as dark horses to make a big move in the offseason.
