The New York Jets have built their roster into one of the best in football.
They have done so by being aggressive in free agency, and by making a few key trades.
Also, the Jets have drafted very well over the past few seasons.
Just last season they added the eventual Offensive Rookie of the Year and Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner will be two cornerstones of this franchise for many years to come.
But, due to some of the moves they made at wide receiver this offseason, one player might be left out of their offense.
That is former Tennessee Titan Corey Davis.
According to Connor Hughes, Jets head coach Robert Saleh said Davis will be on the Jets in 2023.

Davis has one more year on his contract, where he is expected to make just over $10 million.
That is a lot to pay for a third or fourth wide receiver.
New York has already added Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman, and Randall Cobb this offseason.
It is clear the Jets no longer wanted Davis, or they would not have signed these other receivers.
Also, you can point to Aaron Rodgers as a big reason for some of these moves.
Rodgers has a great relationship with Lazard and Cobb, which is the main reason why the Jets added them.
Keeping Davis on the roster does not seem to make much sense.
But, it will only be for one year, and then he will hit unrestricted free agency next offseason.
