The Memphis Grizzlies are currently battling it out in the Western Conference, just a hair behind the Utah Jazz in the fourth spot.
They have a record of 9-5 and have been playing quite well.
Of course, Ja Morant has been the biggest star of the team but the hard work of Desmond Bane has been downright amazing so far this year.
Sadly, he will be off the floor for the foreseeable future.
The Grizzlies say Desmond Bane will be reevaluated in 2 to 3 weeks after being diagnosed with a Grade 2 sprain of his right big toe.

Bane will be reevaluated in two to three weeks after being diagnosed with a grade 2 sprain in his right big toe, the team recently announced.
This will leave the team without a star player who is firing on all cylinders since the new season started.
Can they keep pushing on without him?
Life Without Bane
Bane suffered this injury during the Grizzlies’ win against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.
He then sat out during the team’s loss against the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
The importance of Bane cannot be overstated, he is having one heck of a season.
He has become a true co-star alongside Morant over the last few weeks, reaching career highs of 24.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game.
He has also become one of the best three-point shooters in the league too, ranking fifth in threes made per game (3.8) and also averaging 45.1% from downtown.
Morant has also been hurt recently too and the team has been missing Jaren Jackson for weeks now.
All of this is leading to some fear among Memphis fans.
Injuries are not anything new for the Grizzlies and it was what doomed them last season during the playoffs.
There is fear that this team, as talented as it is, is just always getting hurt.
