The San Francisco Giants seem to be a team that refuses to go away.
When you look at their roster you do not see a team that should be competing for a playoff berth.
But every season the Giants seem to be in contention.
This year they find themselves in second place in the NL West and owning a record of 40-32.
Also, they are winners of eight straight games including a sweep of the division rival Los Angeles Dodgers.
One reason the Giants keep winning games is due to their comeback mentality.
They never think they are out of a game and have pulled off some substantial comeback wins.
According to Sarah Langs, the Giants have six wins this season after trailing by 3+ runs.
this was the Giants’ 6th comeback win when trailing by 3+ runs this season, surpassing their total from 2022 https://t.co/j0ASmfJIg5

It is incredible what the Giants have been able to do.
They do not have a single star player on their roster yet they continue to find ways to win.
We saw something similar with this team back in 2021.
The Giants won 107 games that year before losing to the Dodgers in the NLDS.
Another 100+ wins may be what the Giants need to return to the postseason.
Not only are the Dodgers still good but the Arizona Diamondbacks have emerged as the second-best team in the NL.
All three of these teams look like they will remain competitive throughout the year.
It will be interesting to see if the Giants make any major moves at the trade deadline.
