The Philadelphia Eagles have been without their star tight end Dallas Goedert for the past month after he sustained a shoulder injury in the Eagles’ game against the Washington Commanders in Week 10.
However, the Eagles just made an exciting announcement about Goedert’s return this season.

By opening the 21-day window for Goedert, the Eagles are committing to the fact that Goedert will likely appear in one of, if not multiple regular season games this season.
The Eagles are currently 12-1 on the year and were the first team to clinch a playoff spot for this season.
Goedert’s Impact On The Offense
Although the Eagles have a few receiving weapons that were able to step up in Goedert’s absence (A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith), his presence in the offense will make a huge effect on them during their playoff run.
In the first 10 weeks of this season, Goedert received 53 targets, which at the time, was the third-highest mark on the team, behind only Smith and Brown.
Both his quarterback and coach want to utilize Goedert in this offense, which is scoring an NFL-best 29.7 points per game.
With Goedert, Brown, and Smith, the Eagles are and will continue to be one of the NFL’s most potent offenses.
Will Goedert be healthy enough to contribute to this Eagles team?
The Eagles have their eyes on the prize: the Super Bowl.
They have the weapons, the defense, and the coach to make their dreams a reality.
Only time will tell if they can pull it off.
