Through one weekend of play, the 2022 NFL playoffs have been chock-full of impressive victories, elite individual performances, and even a Monday Night Football game.
This weekend’s slate of games should not disappoint, especially considering that there is a division rivalry taking place between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants.
Both teams have gotten to this game in different ways, with the Giants sneaking in as a Wild Card team, and the Eagles as the number one overall seed in the NFC.
Although these teams have different makeups as a whole, they share one thing in common: elite quarterback play.
Eagles-Giants on Saturday will feature the first QB matchup in NFL postseason history in which both QBs rushed for at least 700 yards during the regular season.

This will be the first playoff game in NFL history to have two starting quarterbacks who both finished the regular season with over 700 rushing yards.
Daniel Jones and Jalen Hurts are two of the NFL’s most prolific rushing quarterbacks, so it is only fitting that they will be facing off this weekend.
If Hurts hadn’t gotten injured, he would have likely been the front-runner for league MVP, considering his 3,701 passing yards and 22 touchdown passes.
The value that Hurts provides through the air and with his legs makes him an anomaly of a quarterback and has proven to be detrimental to defenses across the league.
Jones, on the other hand, is much more known for his rushing abilities, but his passing prowess is starting to show itself as well.
He finished the regular season with 3,205 passing yards, almost 500 fewer than Hurts.
The winner of this matchup will likely be decided by what team can shut down the rushing ability of the opposing quarterback.
May the best team win.
