On Monday, the Los Angeles Dodgers played the first game of a three-game series against the National League-best Atlanta Braves.
Los Angeles came into the series after having lost three out of four to the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
However, their series loss in St. Louis did not deter them as they grinded out an 8-6 win over the Braves to take the opener of the series.
With the win, the Dodgers achieved an impressive feat, becoming the first team in the National League to reach 30 wins this season.
On Twitter, MLB on FOX made a post to celebrate the Dodgers’ most recent accomplishment.

The Dodgers lost a lot of important pieces over the winter.
Cody Bellinger, Justin Turner, and Trea Turner all signed elsewhere in free agency while the San Diego Padres went on a spending spree and came into the season as the favorites to win the NL West.
However, the Padres have been struggling while the Dodgers have overcome a .500 start and taken the rest of the division by storm.
They lead the NL West by 1.5 games over the young, upstart Arizona Diamondbacks and six games over the San Francisco Giants.
And they certainly didn’t waste any time busting out of the gates to win the series opener in Freddie Freeman’s return to Atlanta.
The Dodgers have the second-best record in the National League at the moment, as they sit at 30-19 with a .612 winning percentage, just behind the Braves, who have a winning percentage of .617 on the year.
