The Dallas Mavericks put the Brooklyn Nets away on Monday night, defeating Kevin Durant and his squad with a painful 96-94 win in New York.
Luka Doncic and his team are now 6-3 and really coming together.
Doncic is of course the main star of the team but there are other guys on the crew, such as Christian Wood and Josh Green, who are shining bright and impressing fans.
But there is always room for more star power on this team.

The team might end up signing one of the players they defeated on Monday.
It is being reported that the Mavs are a “team to keep an eye on” for Ben Simmons of the Nets.
The idea of Simmons being traded away from Brooklyn isn’t new – and it’s one that is gaining attention and popularity too.
If Simmons continues to struggle in Brooklyn, he might only be there for a short bit longer.
Simmons Sent Away
The Simmons experiment in Brookly isn’t working out.
For example, he came off the bench on Monday and only scored 2 points and 2 assists – and he racked up 3 fouls in just 15 minutes.
This has happened again and again for Simmons with the Nets.
He is simply not performing at the level the team expected and there are many people calling on the front office to trade him ASAP.
In theory, he would fit in well with Jason Kidd‘s Mavericks and could possibly boost the defense and assist Doncic with the offense too.
But that idea is in theory only.
As Simmons has proven, he isn’t currently very good at living up to expectations.
Will the Mavericks want to take a chance on Simmons or do they not want the hassles that he could bring?
