The Los Angeles Clippers have won their last two games and, most impressively, defeated the Boston Celtics on Monday night.
Technically, the Celtics are the best team in the league so overtaking them is a big deal.
It’s also a big deal because this was accomplished with the Clippers’ best players all participating.
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were both on the floor together, showing fans that this team really can be incredible when it is fully healthy.
Clipper tonight:
— Beat the best team in the NBA
— Held the best offense to under 100 PTS
— Kawhi most points since May 2021
— Held Tatum to 20 PTS and 35 FG%6th in the West with Kawhi and PG only playing 8 games together. pic.twitter.com/dbJTa7Kt2U

Monday night was definitely a good one for the Clippers.
Not only did they beat the best team in the league, but they also held their offense to under 100 points and Leonard scored his most points since May of 2021.
Perhaps most importantly, they held Jayson Tatum, a serious candidate for this season’s MVP, to 20 points and a 35% field goal percentage.
Slowly but surely, the Clippers are making their way up the Western Conference standings.
So, can they continue to go up, up, up?
Leonard With LA
Clippers fans were vindicated on Monday night because they were able to point to the mammoth win over the Celtics and show the naysayers what this LA team can do.
No one doubted that the Clippers could be great – if they are all playing, that is.
It is great to see Leonard play two games back-to-back but it is still shocking to see that he’s only been in nine games this season.
If he can continue to play and continue to get close to his vintage numbers, the Clippers will keep winning and get more and more competitive.
But fans of the Clippers never know what they are going to get with Leonard this year – sometimes he’s present, sometimes not.
That is just the nature of this five-time All-Star.
