The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are slated to look significantly different in 2023 than they did last year.
Losing a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback in Tom Brady is never helpful, and the Buccaneers are now back to square one.
Early in the offseason, the Buccaneers signed Baker Mayfield, who is now the presumed starter.
For a while, it was just he and Kyle Trask on the depth chart, until the team recently signed John Wolford, per Ian Rapoport.
The #Bucs have added to their QB room, signing former #Rams QB John Wolford. He joins Kyle Trask and Baker Mayfield in Tampa.

Wolford is a five-year NFL veteran, spending time with the New York Jets and Los Angeles Rams.
Even though he has been in the NFL for five years, Wolford has started in just four games, amassing a record of 2-2.
Throughout his career, Wolford has been a backup and looks to be in that role in Tampa Bay, pending an injury to Mayfield.
Last season, Mayfield joined the Rams late in the year, starting four games for them to the tune of a 1-3 record.
The Buccaneers are Mayfield’s fourth stop since 2018, a fall from grace after being the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Is this the destination where Mayfield can finally become the franchise star that he was once expected to be?
Wolford and Trask will also be fighting for the starting role, following the departure of Brady.
Each team in the NFC South will have a new quarterback at the helm this season, making for an interesting in-season playoff push.
Can the Buccaneers return to the playoffs in 2023, given the number of organizational changes that have been made?
