The ALCS is finally set.
After rain pushed the deciding game of the ALDS back by one day, the New York Yankees came out swinging and sent the Cleveland Guardians packing.
For the third time since 2017, the ALCS will feature a matchup between these Yankees and the Houston Astros.
Houston has been to the World Series three out of the last five years, winning it all in 2017.
Obviously, they’ll be heavy favorites to win this series, and according to odds courtesy of BetMGM, Houston has +160 odds to win the World Series, which are the best odds out of the remaining four teams.

Astros Favored To Win The Title
This could bode well for the Astros.
Out of the remaining four teams, they had the best regular season record, going 106-56 and securing the top seed in the American League for the second time in four years.
At this point, Houston will be the favorites to win it all with teams like the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, and New York Mets already eliminated.
As we know, however, these are only odds.
The games still need to be played to determine the winner.
The Yankees, who are galvanized by Josh Naylor‘s baby rocking celebration, also are determined to try and reverse a trend.
The two teams met in the ALCS back in 2017 and again in 2019.
Both times, the Yankees came up short.
With the ALCS starting tonight, the Yankees will be determined to try and right the ship and prove the doubters wrong.
While the Astros may have an advantage on paper, it certainly won’t be an easy series for them.
Jameson Taillon and Justin Verlander will square off in the series opener tonight.
