Every season, the NFL has some teams who are always overrated by fans and sports analysts.
This season is no different, as the NFL has two playoff contending teams that aren’t as good as their record shows.
So which two teams are they, and what makes them overrated?
1. Baltimore Ravens
While the Baltimore Ravens are in first place in the AFC North, they are an overrated team.
However, this isn’t because of the Lamar Jackson injury, as the team is overrated with him as their leader.
While he can move the ball with his legs, he flounders in pressure situations.
His seven interceptions this season have all proven costly for the Ravens.
But his 6.9 yards per attempt are his lowest since his rookie season.
While he’s getting touchdowns, they aren’t enough to overcome his mistakes in games.
These things help make the Ravens an overrated team in 2022.
2. Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are relying on some luck this season to win games.
Despite going against the worst team in the NFL, the Cowboys barely beat the Houston Texans.

I think the Dallas Cowboys are completely overrated. Having to go 98 yards to beat the worst team in the NFL doesn't sound like a championship caliber team to me……..— Zac (@zjgmystic) December 12, 2022
However, this isn’t the first time the team has struggled against lower teams.
Their game against the Green Bay Packers saw an injured Aaron Rodgers come back from behind and win in overtime against them.
They also got lucky going against the New York Giants on Thanksgiving Day.
With Dallas benefiting from an easy schedule and questionable play calling, the Cowboys are the most overrated team in NFL.
While fans will continue to defend them, elite teams don’t let other teams handle them like the Texans did on Sunday.
