The Houston Texans are looking to surprise some people next season.
It all started when they decided to hire DeMeco Ryans as their new head coach.
He was one of the best coordinators in the NFL as the DC with the San Francisco 49ers.
But, it will be interesting to see how he can turn the Texans around in his first year.
It appears that one player is already loving the new coaching staff in Houston.
That is running back Dameon Pierce, who is excited to work with Ryans and new offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik.

Slowik comes over from the 49ers as well, as he was the quarterback’s coach with them last season.
You can expect that he will be willing to run the ball plenty just like they did in San Francisco.
Pierce was one of the breakout rookies in the NFL last season.
He rushed for 939 yards in 13 games, and should easily be able to surpass 1,000 next season.
Even though the Texans are set at running back for the foreseeable future, they still need a QB.
Holding the second and 12th overall picks in the upcoming NFL draft, Houston should be selecting a quarterback with one of those picks.
It is a guarantee that the Texans will have their choice of quarterback at second overall.
Two players they should be interested in taking are Alabama’s Bryce Young, and Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud.
One other name they could make a run at is Lamar Jackson.
While that may seem like a long shot, they have the draft capital and salary space to make something work.NEXT: John Lynch Says The 'Sky Is The Limit' For 1 NFL Coach
