The Houston Texans had one of the most active NFL Drafts.
They substantially improved their team by selecting quarterback C.J. Stroud second overall and pass-rusher Will Anderson third.
It is rare for one team to have two of the top three picks, but the Texans were able to trade up from 12 to 3 to make it happen.
Now all eyes will be on the Texans as they figure out what to do with Stroud.
Texans CEO Cal McNair says Stroud will have to earn the starting spot throughout the offseason.

Saying the highly drafted rookie will have to earn his way onto the field is nothing new.
It is rare for a team to just hand the starting job over to their rookie quarterback.
But Stroud certainly has the inside track to win the job.
The Texans need to bring some excitement to their fanbase.
There is no better way to do that than starting Stroud Week 1.
Also, the Texans do not have many options for a starting quarterback on their roster outside of their rookie.
So if they are serious about competing next season, Stroud will be the starter in Week 1.
The best way for a rookie to learn is during games.
He can only learn so much from the sidelines and the Texans have to put him out there so he can learn from his mistakes.
