NFL fans have been having a field day at the expense of the Dallas Cowboys after they were unceremoniously bounced out of the Wild Card Round by the Green Bay Packers.
The Cowboys were considered one of the favorites to represent the NFC in Super Bowl LVIII, but they ended up flaming out instead.
Dallas’ formidable defense got torn to shreds by Jordan Love and the Green Bay offense, while Dak Prescott had a forgettable performance.
It was also an indictment on the head coaching job that Mike McCarthy’s done though owner Jerry Jones is opting to keep him around for the 2024 NFL season.
Jones has been adamant on getting the Cowboys back to the Super Bowl, but so far he’s had to deal with disappointment after disappointment.
Terrell Owens didn’t hold back any punches when he decided to call out Jones via 95.7 The Game.
“For Jerry Jones, that money is always going to win, whether they win or lose or draw. So it doesn’t matter what they do. So these Cowboys fans, they can keep crying,” Owens said.

NFL owners are some of the richest people on the planet and to Owens’ point, Jones still profits off the franchise regardless of results.
However, Cowboys fans have been demanding more from the team for years and it feels like they’re shouting into a void considering how the team has performed in recent years.
Owens’ comments may not go over well with the Cowboys faithful, but it’s hard to blame him considering the state of the organization.
