The Sacramento Kings recently announced they were signing guard Terence Davis to fill their open roster spot, and now Davis has made it official with the selection of his jersey number.
According to Etienne Catalan, Davis will wear No. 9 for the Kings.
This number was last used by Kevin Huerter in 2025.

Davis has most recently spent time with the G-League Wisconsin Herd this season, averaging 14.3 points per game on 40.2 percent three-point shooting.
Before that, he played for the Toronto Raptors and spent three seasons with the Kings.
During his first run in Sacramento, Davis averaged 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
Back in 2023-24, Davis ruptured his Achilles while he was playing for the Rip City Remix.
After recovering, he signed a training camp deal with the Milwaukee Bucks before this season began but was waived by the team in October.
The Kings see Davis as a way to provide more depth to their wing positions, especially now that Malik Monk suffered a calf injury on Monday.
Meanwhile, Keegan Murray has missed the last two games with back problems.
The Kings are currently the ninth team in the West and have secured their spot in the Play-In Tournament.
It’s going to be a rough few weeks for them.
If they are able to secure a spot in the playoffs, they will be the eighth seed, meaning they’ll face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the opening round.
Davis hasn’t been in the NBA for some time, but he will be thrown right into the fire with his return to Sacramento.
He is surely happy to be back, but he joins the team at a challenging time.
