Pool C of the 2023 World Baseball Classic, organized by MLB, will be decided on Wednesday.
Canada and Mexico will take the field at 3:00 p.m. ET, and whoever wins will punch their ticket to the quarterfinals.
The loser will need to wait out the night game between the United States and Colombia, which will start at 10 p.m. ET.
In that game, if the United States wins, they will advance to the next round.
If they lose, then it would be time to say goodbye and that would be an extreme disappointment.
Win and they're in for @USABaseball tonight 🇺🇸⚾️

After losing the opening game against Mexico, the Americans defeated Great Britain and Canada.
Colombia won against Mexico, but surprisingly lost to Great Britain and then also fell against Canada.
Colombia would advance to the single-game elimination round with a win and a Canadian victory in the first game.
Long story short, each and every team in Pool C that is in play today has something on the line and concrete chances of qualifying.
After the disappointing loss against Mexico, the Americans have been playing much better ball.
Tonight, Arizona Diamondbacks starter Merrill Kelly will get the ball for Team USA.
It’s the single most important game of the WBC so far for Mark DeRosa‘s team: a loss will leave them empty-handed in a tournament they are expected to challenge for.
It’s the perfect time for Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, Kyle Tucker, J.T. Realmuto, Trea Turner and others to show what they are made of.
Colombia is no pushover, and will give its all to make history.
It will be a fascinating showdown.
