With a chance to push the Indianapolis Colts in a positive direction, fans are wondering what the team will do at No. 13.
The NFL combine is underway and the Colts have one of the higher first-round picks in the draft.
However, the second-day of the draft could be more important for the franchise.
The Colts have the No. 33 and No. 44 picks of the draft and this prospect could be on the team’s radar.
The team is rumored to have interested in TCU’s defensive tackle Ross Blacklock.

Blacklock’s Bio
Blacklock played two seasons at TCU after deciding to forgo his junior year in December.
Listed at 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds, he posts a very impressive size for a defensive lineman.
After redshirting in 2016, Blacklock earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 with 27 tackles and 2.0 sacks.
He earned Freshman All-American status as well.
In 2018, Blacklock lost his season with an Achilles injury he suffered during training camp.
However, he bounced back in 2019 with 40 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and recognition of First-Team All Big 12.

However, the Colts are not the only team with interest.
It turns out that the New England Patriots are a contender too.

With the potential he has as an interior defensive lineman, it’s not surprising.
Hey may not be a first-round pick, but he could grow as someone that can contribute on a NFL franchise.
On A Lighter Note
Blacklock has 21 formal interviews and one team offered him a hand.
The Oakland Raiders told Blacklock that he had 37 parking tickets.
Ross Blacklock has 21 formal interviews. Said he prepared for weird questions but when he met with Oakland, he learned something new about himself: “The Raiders told me about my 37 parking tickets that I didn’t know about.”

When reporters asked Blacklock about the situation at his presser, he had this to say:

Final Thoughts
Blacklock could be a day two prospect and that is perfectly okay.
From what it sounds, he has suitors across the league.
If he has the talent to contribute to the team’s defense, then he is worth a look.
Pay attention to this guy because it sounds like he could be a top prospect for the Colts.
